IIGB Researcher Receives $1.5M NIH Award

IIGB researcher Frances Sladek received a $1.5 million grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases of the National Institutes of Health to support a four-year research to study the tremendous variability in individuals' responses to drug treatments.

IIGB/CEPCEB Director Natasha Raikhel was one of 84 newly elected members to the National Academy of Sciences, considered one of the highest and most competitive honors to be bestowed on a scientist.
