The second international CDVR Symposium titled "Facing the Challenges of Vector-Borne Diseases in the 21st Century II" and hosted by NIH, CDVR and IIGB, will be held September 29-30, 2012 in the Genomics Auditorium.

Six experts will present and discuss their work on evolutionary and ecological genomics, molecular genetics, plant-virus-vector interactions, transmission, and control strategies for a wide range of vector-borne diseases in humans and plants. The symposium welcomes students, postdoctoral fellows and other researchers as presenters and attendees.

For additional information, please contact CDVR Director Peter Atkinson.
